3 Storey, 3 Bed Property to Let in Plymouth.

2/1/2019

Available now in central Plymouth, within the PL1 Postode Area.

During this Summer our Plymouth Contractors, Lords Pinnacle undertook the muck and bullets side of the refurbishment of this three bedroom house; whilst I did the remote control from North Wales.     The refurbishment was actually more like gutting it back to the shell.   If you’re into property you’ll know that one little thing leads to another thing and sometimes leads to a big thing.  One ready, the house was swiftly let to a  young couple with children,  but due to personal circumstances they needed to move closer to family on the outskirts of the city.   It’s only had 6 months use since being renovated and is in mint condition with everything new.  It’s painted in Dulux Porcelain Doll and accented with Dulux Engraved Locket and all white woodwork.   We’re scheduled to have the outside painted during the Summer of 2019, I’m thinking a lovely shade of pink for this one!  We have the one next door on the corner, and it’ll be nice to give the exterior a new dress ( as I like to call it)

This three bedroom house is very spacious and very cosy with new double radiators and latest spec. insulation in the loft space.   In addition, the windows have been upgraded to reduce any noise and increase warmth.  It’s situated on Frederick Street West, Plymouth with a little courtyard out the back and is a next to end terrace.

Downstairs there’s a handy cloakroom just off the entrance and the kitchen is bright and airy leading onto the lounge / diner with a small breakfast bar.  This is a great open plan arrangement.  We have laid top quality grey limed oak vinyl throughout downstairs for easy maintenance and coordinated look; I’ve been using vinyl for 15 years and it really is the way to go for easy maintenance and a great look.  On the first and second floors we have a nice neutral mid grey carpet and again vinyl in the bathroom.

This house is a perfect blank canvas for anyone and is ideal for a longer term let as a true home from home.  The property is being marketed by Just Flat’s who look after our Plymouth properties-  for more details  and to book a viewing  use this link, here Just Flats & Smeaton Homes, Plymouth.   The house would suit a professional couple or growing family as it’s ideally placed to Plymouth City Centre and all local amenities.   This area has undergone a great deal of improvement in previous years and as with most of Plymouth has improved from the Marine City status and increased tourism.  For a growing family there is a good selection of schools within easy walking distance and Devonport High School for Boys isn’t too far away.   Parking is on road via the Plymouth Resident Parking Permit system which costs approx £30 per year to secure a slot.

Until next time!

Two Bedroomed House To Let

14/12/2015

Just in time for a Christmas / New Year house move, the lovely spacious two bedroomed house I’ve been refurbishing in finally complete.

I know November is a funny time to start a house refurbishment, especially considering all the rain we’ve had.  Sometimes you just can’t choose when a job gets done, you’ve just got to roll up your sleeves and push on.  As it turned out, it was the perfect time to start, my trusted team were all available just when needed, I couldn’t have asked for more.

This two bedroomed house is surprisingly spacious and so cosy ( if only mine was a lovely and warm) as only a few months previously it benefited from the Wrexham Council’s Project 7 , Vibrant and Viable Places Grant insulation work which has wrapped the whole building a lovely warm blanket, perfect for our unpredictable British weather.  It’s a very attractive two double bedroom mid terrace conveniently located St John’s Road, Wrexham with a little courtyard out the back, as well as a separate secure rear garden with shed.  I’ve updated the fixtures and decor right through from the two reception rooms through to the kitchen and bedrooms, keeping what we can and making the most of the space.  We have laid top quality oak Rhino flooring throughout downstairs for easy maintenance and  co-ordinated look; I’ve been using Rhino flooring for 12 years and it just gets better.  On the stairs and through to bedrooms there is a neutral carpet well under laid for extra comfort and easy to clean too.   We’ve Rhosddu Carpets, Wrexham for the flooring, always a fabulous selection and great service.

This house is a perfect blank canvas, pop the furniture in and personalise to make it a true home from home, for more details and to see snapshot, use this link for Grow Property, based on King Street, Wrexham.  Early viewings are recommended as it’s just come on the market.  The house would suit a professional couple or a small family as it’s ideally placed to Wrexham town centre and local amenities and Wrexham Industrial Estate is less than 5 minutes by car.    There is a lovely friendly neighbourhood feel with a mixture of retired and working people on the street.

Parking is on road and for the four weeks I’ve been working there, no parking problems have been experienced day or evening.

With this now wrapped up, I wonder what’s next on the horizon, perhaps a little personal project in the Spring, I suspect it’ll turn out to be bigger than I imagined.

Until next time.
